A rising brand of minimal mode wrapped in stillness, built around the "blue" of sea and sky.
AZURRO began with the color of the sea at dawn, seen on the designer's travels. To turn that "blue with no name yet" - neither black nor navy - into clothing, a unique deep navy was developed by dyeing from the yarn stage.
With ornament stripped away, fabric and tailoring do the talking. Three wools of different weights compose collections whose blues change expression with the light.
Behind the Making
Yarn-dyed navy
Dyed three times at the yarn stage, not the fabric. A deep blue with a faint trace of red at its core - a color only AZURRO has.
Tailoring
Coat interlinings are set by hand with haircloth - ready-to-wear with a three-dimensionality close to tailor-made.
